We’ve been tinkering behind the hangar doors, and this month’s HISI release is all about making it easier to log aircraft, better to view them, and cooler to show them off. Here's what's just taken off:
✨ New Features
🆕 ‘Add to Sightings’ Button
No more guessing where to log your finds – we've added a dedicated “Add to Sightings” button to aircraft pages. Quick, easy, and impossible to miss (unless you're looking out the window).
📸 Aircraft Image Uploads
Seen it? Snap it. You can now upload one image per aircraft you’ve spotted. Perfect for showing off those rare liveries, questionable paint jobs, or just proving you were there first.
📸 Spot It? Snap It.
You can upload a photo by taking one on the spot, selecting from your gallery, or pasting a URL from another site.
🖼️ Your Pic, Front and Centre
Upload it, and boom – it’s on the aircraft card.
✏️ Edit Aircraft Details
Noticed something wrong? You can now edit aircraft details – like where or when you saw it – or even delete the sighting entirely, all straight from the aircraft card. Keep your logs sharp (just like your spotting game).
